Autumn Decor

AUTUMN, THE YEARS LAST LOVELIEST SMILE

I'm excited to share my Autumn decor with you!! It was really fun to decorate the new place with all my Autumn/Halloween decorations. I can hardly believe we are just a couple of days away from Halloween. It really snuck up on me this year and it certainly does not FEEL like fall out side. Living in Southern California means that it still feels like Spring this time of year and on some days it even feels like SUMMER! I'm still in my Capri's, t shirts and flip flops most days around here. So with that being said...at least our home LOOKS like fall, even if it doesn't feel like it outside.

I really love the fireplace in this house. A mantle is the perfect place to decorate for any season.

I love this little black Halloween tree. I made most of the ornaments on the tree. I also love anything with the vintage look and feel and these vintage Halloween stickers were fun to turn in to little ornaments. I just put them on black card stock and hung them with a skinny satin ribbon. The other ornaments are from Michael's.

This wrought iron corner shelf was originally in my office, but I ended up finding (literally and I will share in another post) a chair for the corner of my office...so I moved this to the breakfast nook. It works perfectly for all of my Halloween decorations.

I've been collecting my Halloween decorations for many years. My Mom actually gave me most of what you see here. I just love the "country" and "vintage" feel of all the decorations.
My Mom actually painted the witch painting you see here. She was such a talented painter.

...and my Mom also made the "October", snowman in a witch costume cross stitch. She made one for November and December too, which I will share in the future.
